McKeehen Grabs Another Major Title at 2026 SHRPO

Joe McKeehen has added another significant title to his poker résumé, winning the $5,300 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open Championship in Hollywood, Florida, for $462,600.

The victory adds another major tournament win to the résumé of the 2015 World Series of Poker Main Event champion, who defeated a 673-entry field to claim the SHRPO Championship and the coveted Guitar Tower Trophy.

McKeehen faced a stacked final table that included experienced professionals such as Loni Hui and Darren Rabinowitz. Hui finished third for $250,000 after McKeehen’s pocket queens held against her pocket eights.

That sent McKeehen into heads-up play against David Greufe, who was seeking the biggest score of his tournament career.

McKeehen Stages Dramatic Comeback

The heads-up battle was far from straightforward. Although McKeehen entered the duel with the chip advantage, Greufe mounted a major comeback and at one point held a more than 10-to-1 chip lead.

The players had already agreed to an ICM deal covering most of the prize pool, leaving an additional $40,000 and the SHRPO trophy to play for.

McKeehen began his comeback after hitting a flush on the river. He then moved back into the lead when Greufe attempted a bluff into McKeehen’s nut flush.

The former world champion eventually closed out the match in a 60/40 situation, securing the title. Greufe collected $390,804 for second place.

McKeehen’s latest victory also pushed his career live tournament earnings past $22 million, according to The Hendon Mob.

Three Players Make SHRPO History

McKeehen wasn’t the only player making headlines at the 2026 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open.

The series produced an unprecedented achievement, with three players each winning four tournaments. No player had previously won four events at the same SHRPO festival.

Raminder Singh was the first to reach the milestone and now holds the record for the most SHRPO titles, with 20. Jean Laurent followed two days later, while Mehmet Siginc became the third after winning the $3,000 Big 4 Deep Stack No-Limit Hold’em event for $92,017 through a three-way chop.

Yuval Bronshtein also strengthened his position among the festival’s all-time leaders, winning two events to reach 18 SHRPO titles, just two behind Singh.

Robert Mizrachi added another title of his own, winning the $600 DeepStack Big O for $15,605.
