Grosvenor Casino Merchant City will be buzzing from March 12-22 as 888poker LIVE makes its return to Glasgow for the second leg of its 2026 tour.
The festival promises a long list of exciting tournaments aimed at local players and traveling poker fans alike, with highlight like by the £888 buy-in Main Event with a £250,000 guaranteed prize pool.
Successful Debut in 2025
Glasgow’s debut in 2025 proved a hit, with nearly every event exceeding its guarantee. The Main Event alone drew 407 entrants and produced a £309,320 prize pool, topping its advertised guarantee by more than £59,000.
Last year, Dean Lyall emerged as champion, taking home £58,130 after besting Daniel Johnson heads-up. Other notable players who cashed included Robbie Bull, Matthew Davenport, Mariusz Czech, 888poker ambassador Vivian Saliba and Bryan Taylor.
The 2026 festival kicks off at noon on March 12 with the £250 No-Limit Hold’em Crazy 8 Opening Event, which carries a £50,000 guarantee.
Other tournaments include the £250 Mini Main with a £100,000 guarantee (March 15-17), the £1,500 No-Limit Hold’em High Roller with £100,000 guaranteed (March 18-19), and the £340 Dragon with a £30,000 guarantee (March 21-22).
Main Event with Four Starting Flights
The Main Event itself will feature four starting flights: Day 1a at 1:00 p.m. on March 19, Day 1b at noon on March 20, a turbo Day 1c at 8:00 p.m. the same day, and Day 1d on March 21 at 11:00 a.m.
Late entry is allowed until the start of Day 2 at 5:00 p.m. Players can take unlimited re-entries during the first 14 levels, with blind levels ranging from 20 to 60 minutes depending on the day and flight structure.
With a mix of satellites, high-stakes events, and mid-range buy-in tournaments, 888poker LIVE Glasgow offers something for every type of player.
